Providence is calling a full-time, day shift Registered Nurse - Outpatient Behavioral Health Center to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA.
In this position you will:
The staff nurse provides patient care to young, middle and older adults by using the nursing process skills of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Provide patient care to adolescents, young, middle and older patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an approved school of nursing
Current active California RN license
Minimum 1-year RN exp in psych/behavioral health
Comprehensive communication skills, verbal and written.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
Meets proficiency standards of performance as established by San Pedro Peninsula Hospital nursing standards.
Requires the ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative (service-oriented) working relationships with patients, families, visitors, hospital staff and co-workers.
CPI certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Current CPI certification
Experience with Epic a plus
