Providence is calling a Full Time, Day Shift Physical Therapist to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro, CA.
Acute and Acute Rehab - Tuesday-Saturday coverage
In this position you will:
Be responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
The Physical Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments.
Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the physical therapist accurately assesses patients’ needs: identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions.
Providing care to; pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current CA Physical Therapy license
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Ability to type and use a computer efficiently
Ability to organize and prioritize work, complete assignments on time
Ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative working relationship with patients, families and co-workers
Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
