Description
The Occupational Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The Occupational Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments. Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the Occupational therapist accurately assesses patients' needs identifies and initiates appropriate Occupational therapy interventions. Providing care to: pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Degree with certificate from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy. Or,
California Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree - Degree with certificate from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
CHT or HTC and PAM for all Hand Therapists upon hire.
1 year - Experience preferred in adult physical disability setting.
1 year - Exp in Hand Therapy for all OT Hand Therapist.
