Providence Health & Services House Supervisor in San Pedro, California
Providence is calling a per diem, night shift House Supervisor to Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital in San Pedro, CA
In this position you will:
Support the Patient Care Division and Administration with coordination of hospital operations on assigned shift to support the Mission and Core Values of the organization and in compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Utilizing available resources work to insure the provision of efficient, cost effective and safe delivery of patient care.
Assists in coordination of daily staffing and utilization of resources according to established standards of care, competencies of personnel, contractual agreements and patient classification system. Delegates responsibility and/or authority to those able to assume and implement.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to meet patient needs for the processes of admission, discharge planning, test scheduling, and any other identified needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
California State Registered Nurse License.
One year recent experience as a unit manager or three years clinical charge experience.
Strong knowledge base or experience in administrative, managerial and teaching/coaching skills.
Ability to work varied shifts.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science
5 years RN experiience Critical Care, Intensive Care, or Emergency Department
Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
